-
Da Nang has launched a 90-day campaign to build and complete its land database, aiming to ensure data that is accurate, sufficient, clean, unified, and shared. The initiative covers all administrative levels across the city and seeks to enhance transparency, improve e-government services, and simplify land-related administrative procedures for residents and businesses. Once completed, the system will be connected and synchronized with the national population database and other specialized data systems, supporting efficient state management and sustainable socio-economic development.

3. Da Nang Attracts Investment in Smart Urban Development, Aviation, and Seaport Sectors.
A recent high-level visit by Da Nang’s delegation to Amsterdam has strengthened prospects for international cooperation in smart urban development, transport, and sustainable infrastructure. During meetings with the Amsterdam Smart City Project Authority, Da Nang’s leaders — including Nguyễn Đức Dũng (Chair of the People’s Council) and Trần Nam Hưng (Vice-Chair of the People’s Committee) — explored Amsterdam’s model of innovation and eco-friendly growth. The city expressed strong interest in applying Amsterdam’s public–private partnership (PPP) framework to advance projects in digital transformation, transport, and green energy, while adopting smart technologies and green standards in planning and airport development.
A key highlight was Da Nang’s plan to upgrade Chu Lai International Airport to 4F standards and create a logistics–technology complex inspired by Amsterdam’s Schiphol model. The delegation also discussed collaboration with Royal Boskalis Westminster on port and maritime infrastructure, including Liên Chiểu Port. These efforts position Da Nang as a future regional logistics and smart city hub, offering new opportunities for global investors.

4. Da Nang Reconnects by Sea and Air as Chinese Tourism Returns.
Da Nang is experiencing a robust resurgence in Chinese tourism with the comeback of both cruise and flight connections. On October 6, 2025, the international cruise ship Adora Mediterranea docked at Tiên Sa Port, bringing nearly 2,500 visitors from Guangzhou — marking one of the largest cruise arrivals of the year. Earlier, on October 2, China Southern Airlines resumed its Shenzhen–Da Nang direct route (CZ8155) after a five-year suspension, carrying more than 170 passengers.
Before the pandemic, China was Da Nang’s second-largest source market, with around 1 million Chinese visitors in 2019. While the city welcomed over 5 million international travelers in the first eight months of 2025, Chinese arrivals have been slower to return. The revival of air and sea links signals not only the recovery of tourism but also expanded opportunities for trade, investment, and regional partnership. In response, Da Nang is upgrading infrastructure — from airports to seaports — while diversifying tourism offerings in medical travel, MICE, and eco-cultural experiences.

5. Da Nang Real Estate Market Shows Strong Recovery in Q3/2025.
Da Nang’s property market experienced a strong recovery in Q3/2025, driven by sharp growth in the land and apartment segments. According to batdongsan.com.vn, land prices surged by 68% and apartment prices by 50% compared to Q1/2023. Ngu Hanh Son (+33% in price; +48% in demand) and Son Tra (+41% in price; +32% in demand) emerged as hot spots. In neighboring Quang Nam, land plots remained the dominant segment, accounting for 83% of buyer interest, led by Dien Ban (+36%) and Nui Thanh (+22%) thanks to industrial and economic zone growth.
According to Da Nang’s Statistics Office, real estate continued to serve as the city’s main economic driver in Q3, fueled by supportive credit policies, infrastructure development, and new supply. Consumer service revenue in September reached VND 4,556 billion (+34.7% YoY), with real estate-related services up 81.8%. Across Q3, revenue totaled VND 14,217 billion, up 40.6% year-on-year, while property services surged 94.7%. Over nine months, total revenue hit VND 41,117 billion (+45.2%), underscoring real estate’s pivotal role. Key growth pillars include improved infrastructure, positive suburban planning, and renewed investment capital—solidifying Da Nang’s position as Central Vietnam’s dynamic real estate hub.
