Real Estate Businesses "Get Involved" After The Government's Move To "Open" A Credit Package For Young People Under 35 Years Old

  1. Following the Government’s directive to establish a credit package to support young people (under 35 years old) to buy houses, many banks have quickly implemented low-interest loan packages. Real estate businesses are also not out of the “game” when they continuously launch preferential sales policies to support young people to buy houses.

  2.

Young people “open the door” to buy houses

At a recent conference with commercial banks, the Prime Minister requested the State Bank and commercial banks to study and continue to have preferential credit packages for both supply and demand to develop social housing and housing for young people under 35 years old.

Immediately following the Prime Minister’s direction, many banks quickly implemented low-interest loan packages (from 4-5.5%/year) to remove capital bottlenecks for home buyers.

  3.

Along with that, investors and real estate businesses have begun to “get involved” with a series of new sales policies, promoting home buying demand right at the beginning of 2025.

  4.

Experts assess that accessing preferential credit packages for young people aged 35 and under with reasonable interest rates is a completely correct and urgent policy. The policy creates great social security opportunities, helping young people realize their dream of settling down and making long-term contributions to the economy.

Visa Exemption For 3 European Countries, More Opportunities To Attract International Visitors.

The visa exemption policy for citizens of Poland, Czech Republic, and Switzerland is seen as a significant opportunity for Vietnam to attract tourists and investors from new markets. Travel companies like Vietravel and Hồ Tràm plan to expand their partner networks and design suitable travel packages. However, many businesses worry that the implementation period until the end of 2025 is too short to maximize its benefits. They propose extending the program and collaborating with airlines to optimize the effectiveness of tourism stimulus efforts.

PM Urges Faster Social Housing Construction, Cutting Compliance Time to 1-2 Months.

On March 6th, during a meeting on resolving challenges and promoting social housing development, the Prime Minister emphasized that social housing is a key driver of socio-economic growth, enhancing investment, consumption, and social welfare. He urged the full involvement of the political system, with localities establishing steering committees for social housing development.

Although progress has been made, the number of projects and units is still insufficient. Challenges remain, including slow fund disbursement and difficulties in land access, investment procedures, and credit. The Prime Minister outlined ten key tasks for improvement, such as regulatory reviews, coordinated planning, infrastructure development, financing mechanisms, and anti-corruption measures, with the goal of accelerating and streamlining social housing projects across the country.
