1. Foreign Investors Increasingly Partner with Vietnamese Companies for Real Estate Projects.
Foreign investors are increasingly choosing joint ventures and equity partnerships with Vietnamese companies to enter the real estate market rather than acquiring projects outright. Examples include BW Industrial Development, Frasers Property–GELEX, and Nam Long–Nishi-Nippon Railroad. In the first nine months of 2026, Vietnam attracted USD 50.36 billion in registered FDI, with real estate accounting for USD 5.32 billion. These partnerships combine foreign capital and development expertise with local land resources, market knowledge, and regulatory experience, helping both sides share investment risks and expand their operations.
