    1. Real Estate Businesses "Get Involved" After The Government's Move To "Open" A Credit Package For Young People Under 35 Years Old

      1. Following the Government’s directive to establish a credit package to support young people (under 35 years old) to buy houses, many banks have quickly implemented low-interest loan packages. Real estate businesses are also not out of the “game” when they continuously launch preferential sales policies to support young people to buy houses.

      2.

Young people “open the door” to buy houses

At a recent conference with commercial banks, the Prime Minister requested the State Bank and commercial banks to study and continue to have preferential credit packages for both supply and demand to develop social housing and housing for young people under 35 years old.

Immediately following the Prime Minister’s direction, many banks quickly implemented low-interest loan packages (from 4-5.5%/year) to remove capital bottlenecks for home buyers.

      3.

Along with that, investors and real estate businesses have begun to “get involved” with a series of new sales policies, promoting home buying demand right at the beginning of 2025.

      4.

Experts assess that accessing preferential credit packages for young people aged 35 and under with reasonable interest rates is a completely correct and urgent policy. The policy creates great social security opportunities, helping young people realize their dream of settling down and making long-term contributions to the economy.

3. Over 2.5 trillion VND Will Be “Pumped” Into the economy, is the “spring” of real estate approaching?

  1. Over 2.5 trillion VND Will Be "Pumped" Into the economy, is the "spring" of real estate approaching?

In 2025, the State Bank of Vietnam aims for a 16% credit growth, equivalent to 2.5 trillion VND, to stimulate the economy. This could increase to 18-20% (2.8-3.1 trillion VND) if GDP growth hits 10%. Experts believe this will boost the real estate market after more than two years of challenges.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the goal of achieving over 8% GDP growth at a recent government meeting. Banking sector growth will support this economic target, with credit focus on sectors like industrial real estate, residential properties (thanks to legal reforms), and renewable energy.

Economist Le Xuan Nghia suggests banks will prioritize lending for infrastructure and real estate projects near public transport hubs. With low interest rates and rising inflation, investors are expected to favor real estate and stocks. Real estate will benefit from both affordable loans and government efforts to resolve legal obstacles, restarting stalled projects and accelerating land development. Urbanization and demand for housing and industrial real estate will be long-term growth drivers.

  1. Da Nang Upgrades Infrastructure, Ready For The 2025 Tourism Season.

Da Nang is aiming for significant growth in its tourism sector by 2025, targeting over 11.9 million overnight visitors and projected tourism revenue of 36 trillion VND. To achieve this, the city is enhancing its infrastructure, diversifying tourism products, and improving service quality. Efforts include revitalizing traditional markets, expanding waterway tourism, and creating flexible tour options to cater to various tourists. New promotional programs like “Enjoy Da Nang – Diverse Experiences” and “I Love Da Nang” aim to attract both domestic and international visitors. The appointment of Miss International 2024 as a tourism ambassador will further boost promotion. The government is focused on delivering high-quality experiences and strengthening collaborations for customer satisfaction. This growth will have a positive impact on Da Nang’s real estate sector, increasing demand for hospitality properties and investments near tourist attractions. Developers are likely to focus on mixed-use projects, driving up property values in the long term.
